From receiving countless honors stateside to earning gold on the global stage in Pyeongchang, South Korea, Brianna Decker is a champion both on and off the ice.

In the midst of preparations for the Olympic games, Decker opted to partner with Rise Against Hunger to raise funds and awareness as we work toward a world without hunger by 2030! With a background in Human Development & Family Studies, which Decker explains “aligns well in supporting children and adults who are struggling nutritionally and less fortunate,” it was a natural fit for her to join our work to eradicate hunger.

Supporting the organization through the sale of her t-shirts, Decker sold over 600 items of apparel prior to winning gold in February, which is the equivalent of 11,000+ meals for those in need.

Rise Against Hunger extends our sincerest “THANK YOU” to this amazing Hunger Champion, who truly is a hero in our book.

You can continue to support both Decker and Rise Against Hunger by purchasing your own t-shirt. We hear they’re practically gold!
