Dr. Jill Seaman, an American tropical disease specialist and world-renowned expert on the deadly kala-azar disease who has devoted much of her life to working in East Africa, joined Stop Hunger Now supporters on Sept, 3, 2014 to share her experiences at the medical clinic she runs in Old Fangak, South Sudan. Dr. Seaman spoke to a full house of more than 100 supporters and donors to provide a first-hand account of how humanity still manages to thrive in the midst of civil war and a hunger crisis.

Thanks to the generous support for our South Sudan Campaign, Stop Hunger Now donors have raised 60% of our goal to fund shipments of Stop Hunger Now meals and life-saving Plumpy’Nut® to Old Fangak.

We appreciate your ongoing support to supply much needed food to the people of South Sudan.
