In honor of the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr., volunteers came together across the country on MLK Day to package hundreds of thousands of meals for those in need around the world.
At Rise Against Hunger, we agree with Dr. King when he said, “Everyone can be great because everyone can serve.” Every meal packaged makes a difference, and we are thankful to all of our volunteers who are committed to ending hunger and #FeedingTheDream! Here’s a look back at this impactful day.
Today we worked with Rise Against Hunger to help package over 30,000 meals for the hungry. This organization works towards creating a world without hunger. Thank you to Peace Presbyterian Church for hosting this event, it’s a wonderful cause and we were so happy to help! pic.twitter.com/HNPOvgw6MS
