Rise Against Hunger partner Protiviti earned its spot on Fortune magazine’s “100 Top Companies to Work For” two years running for its achievements in the areas of innovation, collaboration and leadership. However, when you look at Protiviti’s commitment to community service, it’s clear that the global consulting firm’s “i on Hunger” initiative is what sets Protiviti apart.

Protiviti launched “i on Hunger” in 2014, teaming up with Rise Against Hunger and 48 other nonprofit organizations to package and distribute more than 1 million meals globally in less than one year (that number has since surpassed 2.6 million meals). This company-wide community service initiative provides employees, and clients with a unique opportunity to make a positive difference in the fight against world hunger.

The results of this program are significant: In addition to the meals provided to people in need around the globe, 95% of Protiviti employees surveyed* reported that they feel good about the ways they contribute to the community.

Dan O’Keefe, a Protiviti Senior Managing Director, shared, “We could not have achieved and exceeded our goals without our extraordinary partnership with Rise Against Hunger. We look forward to continuing our relationship as we all work to significantly reduce hunger. Hunger doesn’t stop and neither do we.”

I’d like to recognize the people of Protiviti for this exciting achievement, and to thank them for their ongoing commitment to ending hunger worldwide. We look forward to the impact that we’ll make together in the years to come.
