As Rise Against Hunger works to end hunger by 2030 and to address our 2019 Public Policy Priorities, we partner closely with RESULTS, a grassroots advocacy organization focused on ending poverty. RESULTS provides advocacy training, support and inspiration to its network of passionate, committed people.

Members of the advocacy group, RESULTS, gather in D.C. to speak to their representatives on issues related to global development.

RESULTS and Rise Against Hunger are great partners in this work. Rise Against Hunger engages hundreds of thousands of volunteers each year who want to make a difference around the issues of hunger and RESULTS has 39 years of experience training people to make a difference through advocacy. If even a small fraction of Rise Against Hunger’s volunteers decide to take advocacy actions, efforts to end hunger by 2030 will be greatly impacted.

RESULTS offers resources for advocates on its website as well as easy-to-use action tools. In a few weeks, RESULTS will be gathering its grassroots volunteers from around the country in Washington, D.C., for the 2019 RESULTS International Conference. During the conference, volunteers will be trained on advocacy, will hear from policy leaders and will meet with lawmakers on Capitol Hill. Anyone interested in ending poverty through advocacy can register to attend.
