At Rise Against Hunger, we actively seek to promote young leaders of tomorrow working to change their worlds today. Below are opportunities to empower you, your school group or even your entire campus in creating innovative and sustainable solutions for ending global hunger.

Alternative Service Break
Use your spring or fall break to give back at one of our 20 U.S. warehouse locations. You’ll have the opportunity to learn about hunger and our mission, provide assistance in the warehouse and help prepare and facilitate meal packaging events. Find a location near you to get started.

Meal Packaging Events
Engage students on your campus in the fight against hunger by hosting a Rise Against Hunger Meal Packaging Event. You provide the location, tables, volunteers and cover the cost per meal. We provide the equipment, ingredients and training for the assembly line. Fifty students can package 10,000 meals in two hours.  A Meal Packaging Event is a high energy, fun service opportunity for any student group or the entire campus!

World Hunger Leadership Award
Undergraduate students with a passion to end hunger are invited to apply for the World Hunger Leadership Award. Originally named the Clinton Hunger Leadership Award, the scholarship was established in honor of President Bill Clinton for his commitment to humanitarian causes including the eradication of hunger, the cash award recognizes outstanding leadership in the movement to end hunger.
