285,120 meals are currently being shipped through Reach Now International to be received by our in-country partner “I Care” Mission Eurasia in eastern Ukraine. As a result of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine that began in late 2013, Mission Eurasia established the “I Care” Refugee Assistance Program to care for the more than 1.5 million refugees who have been displaced by the crisis.

Through “I Care,” Mission Eurasia provides urgently needed relief aid in the form of food, warm clothing, and other essential items. So far, the “I Care” program has served more than 140,000 refugees who are suffering in Ukraine. The rice meals so generously provided by Stop Hunger Now volunteers will allow Mission Eurasia to expand our efforts to reach out to refugees who are trapped in war-torn eastern Ukraine.

Not only will these meals allow us to provide for the physical needs of these refugees, they will also provide them with hope as they work through trauma and uncertainty about the future. Mission Eurasia is so grateful to be partnering with Stop Hunger Now to help meet the great needs of these innocent victims of the ongoing crisis in Ukraine.
